Wyatt Comes Home

Sweet baby Wyatt got all dolled up to come home.  I found the perfect outfit that made my heart 'pitter patter' as Mason called it...  He looked so sweet and squishy and tiny in his carseat.  My heart always aches a little when we leave the hospital.  It's such a sacred time.  We packed up our little corner of heaven and braved the world.  It was a surprisingly warm February day - only like 50 degrees.

We were nervous to take him home because all the kids were really sick.  They didn't even get to come into the hospital room to hold him.  I really wanted the kids to meet their tiny brother, but I also didn't want to risk the chance of them getting him sick.  After LOTS of hand washing/clothes changing/hand sanitizer we let them hold him for just a bit before he was whisked away to his room in quarantine.

When we first brought him home the girls were just getting back from dance.  They were curious about their little brother.  This was pretty much the only attention Addie paid to him.  She was never really interested in him.  Marae wanted to hold him.

Boonie - the sickest of them all, was so excited to meet his little brother and really wanted to hold him.  We only let him hold him for a bit though... to much risk.  He loves his little brother so much already.

And of course Grandma had to get some snuggles in too.  Everyone loves the new baby.
