February 3rd I had ankle surgery. I rolled it last summer and chipped off a piece of bone. The doctor went in, scoped it and hammered into the bone to make it produce more tissue and heal itself stronger. It was a surgery that required me to be off my feet for 4 weeks and then in a boot for another 3. So February was a calm month of surviving while Mason was gone most of the time as he always is writing his dissertation. It was a "Wonderful Life" moment when all my neighborhood friends had put together about 10 meals that could go in the freezer and brought them in the house. My kitchen table was overflowing with food. I cried and rolled around on my scooter.
Boonie was the sweetest and made dinner twice all by himself and totally his idea. He's such a good kid.
Adelyn had a couple eye appts. They dialate her eyes each time to check the retina attachment. We call her a beanie boo each time they do this. Poor little bug hates it.
We took the kids to Disney on Ice because I wanted to. The only person that felt the Disney magic was Boonie so I decided from here on out to only take him to places where I want a good reaction.
