May is always such a busy and exciting month. We ended the school year this month and Boonie and Marae played soccer. Marae's team went undefeated and Boonie's team only won one game. But he learned a lot and I think he's realizing that soccer may not be his favorite sport.
These pictures of Boonie in his holey socks make me smile for a couple reasons... I love his smile in the pictures - it's rare to get a genuine Boonie smile on camera and I think he's so handsome and cute in the pictures. The story behind the holes is there was a fun run taking place at school and the classroom to complete the most laps wins a price and he was very motivated to help his class win! I think they ended up winning. When he was telling me about the race he then took his shoes off and showed me this and I couldn't stop laugh. He must have done some intense running!
WYATT GOT POTTY TRAINED THIS MONTH!!! THIS IS BIG NEWS AROUND HERE!! HE'S ONLY IN DIAPERS AT NIGHT - WE ARE ALMOST A DIAPER FREE HOUSEHOLD!!
Marae finished up her soccer season and we had a great time teasing her about playing with her friend 'Drew' ❤️❤️❤️.
We got all the windows in our house replaced, along with the back door. They look fantastic!!
Adelyn really wanted to go on a date with Mason and I. So we slipped away one evening for a quick little Addie date. Her favorite place to eat is The Crepery where she likes to eat 'chocolate burritos' (crepes with Nutella and strawberries/bananas). So she munched on that and swung in the egg chairs and soaked up every ounce of attention. I love this sweet little girl.
For Mother's Day my parents and Eric came over for dinner. We ate and played a game of kickball. It was fun to have them over for Mother's Day - something that has never happened before with them in AZ. I also regret my comfy outfit for that evening.
Boone had a project for SEM at school. He was to choose a great American hero and study about them and do a presentation at school. He chose Daniel Boone. He had to dress up as him and write a poem and give a report. He did a great job and I loved that he wore the same Daniel Boone costume as when he was 3.
My dad and I went to the Matt and Savannah Shaw concert. My dad is a really big fan of theirs and really wanted to go. It was a special night with my dad. We found a cute little Mexican restaurant across from the new Eccles Theater in Salt Lake. The theater was beautiful. The concert was so fun to watch and see their success and fans. It was a special moment to be with my dad.
Adelyn graduated Kindergarten!
The kids were jumping on the trampoline and Wyatt somehow hit his mouth and started bleeding. Well Boonie was comforting him and Wyatt kissed his cheek leaving a blood kiss on Boonie's cheek. It was adorable.
I soaked up the last couple of days with just Adelyn before summer break. Next year she will be going to school full time and I will miss her SOOOO much. I love just having her around and watching her interact with Wyatt. I kept sneaking peaks out the window watching her happily eating her burrito before school. I wish she didn't have to leave me next year.
