August - the end of summer. We wrapped up the summer by seeing Seussical where the kids got to meet the author Tyler Whitesides who happened to be The Cat in the Hat. That was fun for them.
Carma opened up her splash pad and the kids had a fun time playing in it. They named it Scooter Island after Scott's nickname which was Scooter. Carma built it as a memorial for her grandkids to remember Scott.
Daisy had a birthday and turned 1. The kids made her a birthday cake out of canned dog food.
We did our annual Bear Lake trip with our island friends the Kelstroms, Petersons, and Botts. It's so fun to get together once a year and see how these kids have grown.
The primary had it's annual bike parade. The kids had fun riding down Hollow Road.
We had a girls night out and went to see the new Barbie movie. We all dressed in pink and had a fun night out with Grandma.
Boone got to meet one of the Utah Jazz players - I can't remember his name.
Boone had a meet your teacher night were he got to tour around the middle school and find his locker. He was very pleased when he discovered that his locker was right next to Peyton's.
Boone broke his shoulder playing football so he's out for the rest of the season. Poor Boonie.
It wouldn't feel complete without our trip to the blackberry fields. We love picking berries and this time we brought Grandma with us. They are so yummy and don't ever last very long at home before they are totally gone!
