November Randoms

Highlights of November include the Halloween candy exchange for money at the dentist (the face painting), reading to the cats, looking at the weird cat birds in our trees, setting up Christmas decorations, ADELYN'S FIRST HAIRCUT, and the Thanksgiving program at Boonie's school.

Thanksgiving

We spent the day up in Woodland.  There were some of Dean's kids up there too.  It was a beautiful day.

Being it was the day after Adelyn's birthday, everyone sang to Adelyn... it was more than she could handle.  She melted into a puddle in my lap during the song.

Adelyn's Birthday

Baby Addie turned 3!!!  She loves the Eric Carle story and show on Netflix of The Very Hungry Caterpillar.  So that's the cake she got and she loved it!  Whenever she sees that particular caterpillar she will say, "That's MY caterpillar."

Marae and I took Addie out to lunch at McDonald's for her birthday.

And that night we had a little party to celebrate the birthday girl.

And then we did one of her favorite things... rode the 4-wheeler around and then ended the night with a birthday bubble bath.  Happy birthday Addie!!  We love you!

Adelyn 3 Years Old

Oh baby Awen... how did you get so old?  This little girl is such a sweet heart.  She is so empathetic at a peacemaker.  She is quick to apologize and often gives hugs and smiles.  She is a snuggler and a lover... we just adore her.  She is such a light in all our lives.

• Who is your favorite person in the world?  Mommy
• What is your favorite color?  All colors!  Addie loves to ask, "What's this color?"  And then have you repeat the question back to you.  She'll yell, "Yellow!  Blue!  Etc."
• What is your favorite television show?  The Very Hungry Catepillar
• What is your favorite movie?  The Wizard of Oz and Dumbo
• What is your favorite outfit?   Nude.... absolutely nothing.  It's not rare to find her sitting in her birthday suit lounging around the house.
• What sport do you like best?  Running.... and running... "faster, faster.... faster!!"  And the best way to do this (in her opinion) is absolutely naked.  It has the least resistance.
• What song do you love?  I'm Being Eaten By A 'Caterpillar' (Boa Constrictor) and Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
• What is your favorite food?  Ranch dressing
• Who is your best friend?  Marae and Boonie
• What do you want to be when you grow up?  A nudest sprinter
• What is your favorite book?  Big Chickens, The Little Red Hen, and Where's Spot
• What are you really good at?  Being adorable and getting away with any and everything.
• Where do you wish you could go on vacation? To cat land... where I can hold all the cats.
• What is your favorite animal?  Dogs and cats.  We have to watch Addie around dogs because she has no fear around them and always walks up to give them a hug when she sees them.
• What is your favorite toy?  Plastic dinosaurs, her stuffed dragons, and her stuffed cats.  She loves stuffed animals.
• What do you hope you'll get before your next birthday?  Well she asked Santa for a candy cane and a dog... so I'm not too sure on that one.

San Antonio Trip - Emily!

For an early Christmas present I got to go out and visit Emily who currently lives in San Antonio, TX.  I've been there before so I was mostly excited to see my bestie!!  It was a VERY relaxing trip.  I was large and pregnant and didn't care about what we did - as long as I was sans children!  We mostly stayed at home but we did get to have one girls day on the town.  We went downtown and saw the Alamo and River Walk.  Also, I am in awe at how horrible I look in all these pictures....

Saturday we went on a family outing to a little German town in San Antonio.  We walked around shops and then had some authentic BBQ.

Saturday night we got dolled up and went to Evita and then the Cheesecake Factory for dessert.  Yum!

We are the bestest friends that ever bested!!  (Or that's what we like to tell our husbands when they roll their eyes at us)
