February Randoms

February was the month of adjustment for us all.  My mom was here for the majority of it.  Everyone was sick and I was anxiously trying to get everyone back to health.  It was a crazy month with little sleep for everyone, but it was sweet with the presence of Wyatt in our home.

Highlights of February:  for Valentine's Day we had our traditional fondue with chocolate, Wyatt had his newborn photo shoot, we got dumped on with a TON of snow.  The kids were happy about that because I hadn't wanted to go out with them to build a snowman the last time it snowed because I was so pregnant.  I didn't mind this time, now that I could actually move.  Grandma was excited too -  she loves the snow.

This is how I found Adelyn one morning after breastfeeding.  She's enjoying her newfound freedom.

Mason came home and found Rae waiting for him like this with the kitty.  He snapped a picture for him to always remember.

Grandma took each of the kids on a date while she was here.  She took Boonie to Chuch a Rama.

Boonie got a much needed haircut.  Here is his before shot.

Nana's California Trip

One of Laura's gifts to me was to take the older two kids to California for the weekend.  I LOVED this gift.  The only thing I didn't like about it was that it happened to fall over the nights when Wyatt was the sickest and that was a bit hard.  I would have liked to have Mason around.  But it all ended up being okay and I did enjoy my quiet time with Addie and my new baby.  We spent the majority of our time snuggling.

Laura and Mason took the kids to Legoland, the San Diego Zoo, and the beach.  They were spoiled rotten and had a fun time.

I asked Marae how she liked the roller coaster and she said she hated it.  She said it felt like it was going as fast as a cheetah running on top of a jet.  She said she felt like all the blood was being ripped from her face.  Great description and great picture to prove it!!!  It's funny... you would think that Rae would love roller coasters due to her 'wild' personality... but she doesn't!!  I remember when we went to Disneyland she hated Splash Mountain!
