December is such a busy and fun month. We got to go to Bridgerland's Christmas celebration. They always go ALL OUT over there. The kids get to walk around to each different department and do something fun. They particularly loved the sugar cookie decorating station. Daddy works in such a fun place. Wyatt loved driving the firetruck (shown below).
We made tamales this year. I wanted to try a couple different types. We made beef, green corn, and cheese. Marae loved the cheese tamales best and did a great job helping me make them! These were the best I've made yet!
The kids had their piano recital and did great. They are growing so much!
My book club that I've been going to since we moved here had their last get together. The ladies who started it are just getting too old and everyone was too busy to continue it. This was sad bc some of these ladies are some of my favorite people who felt like family when we had none when we first moved here.
Marae wanted to paint my face with makeup. I let her. It inspire Wyatt to try his hand at makeup too. I found him looking like this about 30 minutes after we had finished. Look at his curious little face in the background.
I usually take Wyatt out of sacrament meeting when he gets loud (which is 10 minutes in to every single meeting). Well this particular Sunday Mason took him out. While Mason was out all 3 kids fell asleep on me. I didn't get a picture of Boonie. Mason was amazed and said, "That's not fair!! I hope that will happen every single week!! How did you get so lucky!"
This is Max Livingson, Marae's 1st grade crush. I volunteered in her classroom and these things are always important to document.
Wyatt enjoys throw ALL OF HIS TOYS into his bed and climbing in. It takes him quite a long time to load everything in there... so at least it gives him something to do.
I once called Big Cat Big Fat bc he was getting chubby this winter and now Boonie enjoys calling Big Cat that to get a rise out of his sister. Well the first time I called Big Cat that Marae felt very protective of him. I came into the bathroom and found this message written on my mirror: "Do not call Big Cat Big Fat." It made me laugh. She is very protective of those she loves.
We went to the temple lights on our way down for the Lefler Christmas party. It was a warmer night and the kids loved it. We heard that the lights won't be on during the 4 years that they are renovating the temple so we put it at the top of our list this year.

This last picture is the end of 2009 vs. end of 2019. 🥂 What an amazing decade we have had together. At the end of 2019 our kids are 9, 7, 5, 1. At the end of this new decade they will be 19, 17, 15, 11. 😱 Back in 2009 if you would have shown me our current family picture I would have found it unfathomable to even comprehend the blessing and beauty of my 4 children. That time lived over and they will be starting to fly the coop. 😢
My how things have changed. Time flies and this is such an important reminder to really cherish this time in our lives bc it is so fleeting. I’m excited for a New Year. 2020 sounds just incredible. ⭐️
