Positive sayings to oneself keeps them going right?

I think I can, I think I can... This is probably the most stressful week of my life. I have been going nonstop since last Saturday afternoon.

But, my classroom is 95% done. The house is 75% done (minus the cleaning) - oh man.

Plus it doesn't help that I'm pregnant and don't handle changes well. I love changes, but they always make me so nostalgic. Especially since I am leaving my beloved job and SO many beloved friends. If I stop to think about it I start to cry. Poor Mason. Everyday around 5:00 I have a breakdown due to exhaustion/stress/excitement/feeling overwhelmed/love/hormones etc. But he is so good to me all he does is tell me how cute I am as I try to regain control. (So don't call my phone around that time)

I can do this! Tomorrow is moving day/the last day of school! Good bye Utah, hello Arizona. Please don't reach 100 yet. Give me a day or two first.

Good news and bad news...

I will start with the bad news first:

This is what I woke up to this morning. Now I suppose I don't really mind being we are moving to Arizona on Saturday, but I do mind the fact that this means we will be having inside recess on the last week of school. I'll tell you... that's just SO insane.

And the Good News:
There are only 4 1/2 days left of school!

And more Good News:
This was amazing last night. I just loved it. I couldn't get to sleep last night after watching it. I stayed up for a while contemplating things/life for a while.

22 weeks

22 weeks or 5 months and 1 week

You know how when you take a picture and you look at it and think... WOW... I had no idea I looked like that?? I seriously just uploaded these pictures and I had NO idea I was this big. It's amazing! There's a little baby in there!!!

How far along? 22 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: Gained about 15 pounds... I just laugh at these foreign numbers on the scale

Maternity clothes? Fully and completely. My mother in law took me shopping the other. I got a few outfits. It was fun!

Sleep: Not very well, but I don't know if it's due to pregnancy or due to the amount of things I have on my mind that I need to do.

Best moment this week: Feeling that little man kick and kick and kick and kick and kick and kick... He's a wild one.

Movement: Yup... I actually saw my stomach move the other night when he kicked. I just laughed.

Food cravings: Sushi and cheese

Gender: Male!

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out? Still in, but it is closing.... haha the top part of it is starting to stick out.

What I miss: A good nights sleep.

What I am looking forward to: Moving and getting settled in somewhere and then starting to get a nursery ready

Weekly Wisdom: Decorate your nursery if you want... you will regret it if you don't.

Milestones: Feeling him everyday. He passed his 21 week appointment last week. He is developing just perfectly. My little man.

The room mom's in my class threw me a surprise shower today. It was so much fun!! Here is the cute cake we had. The kids had so much fun! Their very first shower!!

Followed by charades. He's feeding a baby.

Read to your baby. They got so into it!

Guess how many jelly beans are in the bottle.

Then they had the kids write down a piece of advice for me being I've never been a mom before. Then they glued it in a book for me. Such a cute idea. I know there are a lot of them, but I just loved them all so much!

"How to change a diaper. When the baby goes poo you wipe it on, then put the diaper on."

"When a baby is born it only can drink milk. It can't eat anything."

"Put him on your shoulder and pat him."

"Wipe his bottom. Feed it when it is crying. Get fit." (This poor kids wife - GET FIT!)

"They need a binkie. Love the baby. When he cries put a binkie in."

"Feed baby milk like every hour. It poops. It needs a bumbo to sit up."

"Make sure you give it one toy or more." (I love this one)

"When he is a couple months, talk to the baby."

I know... you're thinking, then do it. But I don't have ANY time. Funny I seem to have found some right now... but I mean real blogging. I mean come on! I haven't even posted about our Tennessee trip yet! What?!

Holy cow I have so many things to do in the next 11 days.

-grades
-find a resaonably priced moving truck (holy freak these are EXPENSIVE!)
-enter grades online
-pack my classroom
-go through the things I need to go through before I pack my classroom
-clean my classroom
-pack my house
-clean my house
-blah blah blah

I know, I know... I have 11 days.
But then I will have nothing after that... so Allison, enjoy these next 11 days because then you are going to start complaining about being bored.

*Sigh*
I just can't be pleased I suppose.

Love these girls!!

My super cute and adorably hilarious beehives (that's the name of the church class I teach for the 12-13 year olds) threw me a surprise shower on Wednesday. I love these girls! Look at this beautiful quilt that they worked on and tied for me. I am going to miss them so much!

We played a game where they had frozen babies into ice cubes and the first girl to get the baby out of the ice cube won. This is Sara below. Not only is she gorgeous, but a crack up (as you can tell) at the same time.

The competition was FIERCE!

It was a blast though... and SO thoughtful of them! What sweethearts!

Bangs

Yup, after two years of growing out my hair I decided to get a trim and bangs... not quite sure how I feel about them. Perhaps they will grow on me more.

19 and a half weeks...

I have certainly started showing and I love it! I swear it just popped out within the past two weeks!

How far along? 19 1/2 weeks (5 months)
Total weight gain: 9 pounds as of this morning
Stretch marks? Not on my stomach - *Ahem* - the goods are going wild. :(
Sleep: Is very must needed at this point. I get SO tired. My bedtime is pretty early. For some reason my back just aches when I lay on my sides - it also kills when I am sitting. It's only on the right side right in the middle of my back. Has any one else had this? Whoa is me...
Best moment this month: Finding out we were having a little boy! (Even though I knew it all along) :) Also, I have loved feeling him kick like crazy. Mason got to feel him for the first time yesterday morning. He kicked him twice in the hand. I love feeling him move. My sweet little man is an active one already!!

Belly Button in or out? in still, although when I sit up it closes - kinda like a smiley face mouth. Mason and I love to laugh at it.
What I miss: Being able to sit for long periods of time without my back aching. I also miss the sun... but oh wait, that has nothing to do with being pregnant. Dang never-ending winter.
What I am looking forward to: Monday the 10th when we have another ultrasound to check out his lungs and everything to see if he is developing as he should. I love seeing my little one.
Monthly Wisdom: Don't lift anything heavy. My pregnant friend, Ashley, threw her back out and was flat on the ground for a couple hours this week. Yikes! I guess that's pretty good advice. I have gotten a lot of advice on things to buy too. Now I just need to register. (Does anyone even look at those things though?)
Milestones: On Wednesday I will be 20 weeks. HALF WAY THERE BABY! It's been so fast! I can't believe it. I hope this next half goes just as fast!!!
