The day started off watching the hot dog eating contest. The kids were pretty amazed by the silliness. Then we headed off to Hyrum to watch the parade. Grandpa set out SUPER early to set out chairs. He picked a great shady spot... unfortunately so did everyone else in the city. It was CRAZY. There were so many people all over the place. We usually just end up in a sunny spot without that many people. I guess that's what we'll do next year. But the kids still had fun and got TONS of candy.
