March Randoms

Highlight of the month include Adelyn's dance class pictures, ice skating, new chicks and spring slowly making its way toward us.  

Another funny story was during a karoke night.  I was doing a play with Cache Theater - Abba's musical Mamma Mia.  We had a fundraiser karoke night and I took Boonie.  He LOVED it.  I mean LOVED it. I went up towards the beginning with a group to sing and he came with us.  After that I had to work a table at the back and I glanced up at the stage later that night to see Boonie and Brylee Barrett (his friend) back up singing to multiple songs!!  He caught the stage lights bug!  It was hilarious!  Especially when the MC told all the ladies to come up and sing "Gimmie a Man" and Boonie was right in the middle of it.  Love that boy!

Little Girl Land

I'm going to miss these magical afternoons when Marae gets home from preschool and the girls just play.  They are so lucky to have each other.  I love them and their imaginations.

Wyatt's First Haircut

Once upon a time I did a terrible thing....  I saw my baby playing on the playland at McDonald's and thought... his hair is too shaggy.  He needs a haircut.  He'd be cuter if I could see his face...

Enter the Jim Carry haircut.  😱😱😱  I laughed... I cried... I laughed some more... I tried to figure out someway to fix it before Mason got home.... Some things just can't be fixed.  My goal was to save the curls and just raise it a little out of his eye.  Oh man.  What a butcher job.  And I usually feel so confident in my hair cutting skills... I cut Boone's hair all the time!!!!

So... I caved and took him to the lady down the road who helped to soften the hard line.  It was still hard to not feel like I ruined my baby.
