Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day with your families. Being Mason is at football this morning and I just finished my blackberry pie (I decided to make two), I'm watching Horton fly by in the Macey's Day Thanksgiving Day parade - I decided to make just a short list of some things I am thankful for:
- My wonderful family - both mine and Masons
- My warm, warm house so that I'm not freezing this morning
- My job and all those sweet little children that make me laugh
- Good friends who care about me
- The freedom to choose which church I go to
- The church I go to
- I'm thankful for Mason and the never ending sleepover we have each night. He's my best friend and I love him to death
- Pictures to capture memories for my failing mind
- Babies that I want to squeeze and make me excited to be a mommy
- Flowers
- Yummy yummy food - even though sometimes I'm not thankful for it because it makes me look like a little turkey
- My car - it's amazing how I can get in the car and 9 1/2 hours later be in a totally different state visiting my family that it 900 or so miles away.
- Comfy socks
- The internet that lets me connect with long lost friends and family
- My senses - so I can see the pie, taste the pie, smell the pie, and if I really wanted to... I could try and hear it
- Soft serve ice cream
- Christmas and the feelings it brings
- My health so that I can do whatever it is I want
- Sissors
- Music that I can sing/dance/clean the house/drive/exercise/whatever to!
There are just so many things to be thankful for this list could go on and on. I feel so blessed in my life.
