The Lefler family decided to finally start building a cabin for people to come stay in on the foundation that has been sitting out in the field for 30 years. A bunch of the Lefler's got together over Memorial Day weekend to start putting up the walls and the roof. It was great to see everyone working together and amazing to see how much they got done in one way. Extra amazing that this family can just up and build a house!!
The kids played in the area Jann built in the back. She moved the playhouse back there and set up a Teepee as well. They also enjoyed playing in the creek and catching snakes. It's so gorgeous out there. Boonie bashed up his chin when he crashed on his bike earlier this week. Boonie was also really excited to help and spent most of the day with Mason building the house. He's such a good worker.
We wrote our family names on the wall just to the left of the front door. The kids will always know that their names are written with love on the walls of that house they will help build over the next year. We'll be out there many more times.
