Yard Sod Project

 We decided to rip out a couple flower beds that, let's be honest, are just weed beds throughout the year.  They just get so overgrown and are way too much maintenance.  We started the project on May 2nd and finished June 23rd.  It felt so long and drawn out but now that it's done it feels fantastic.  There was a moment there right after the tractors had finished ripping everything out that I was regretting it SO MUCH because they had destroyed our yard.  Luckily it all grew in so nicely.  

Tom and Laura were amazing helpers.  They came up 3 times for different projects and worked so hard.  You'd never guess that they were 66 and 70.  They are hard workers for sure.

Father's Day 2020

We sure love these men in our lives.  With COVID shutting the world down we took the chance and had a little BBQ outside with the Lefler's to celebrate all these guys that we love and play some games.

 

I was looking through some old photos of myself and my dad.  He has been sorting all the old pictures and it was so fun to find some treasures for Father's Day.  I wish that I were able to spend it with him.  He's such a good man.  I gave him a purple blacklight head lamp for him to use at night when he's walking around the house.  He is always afraid that he's going to step on a scorpion because they have found so many in their house that he walks around with the purple headlamp whenever he is up at night.  He loves it!
