We had a fabulous Halloween this year... other than the weather. It was record breakingly cold... lots of snow on the ground... but did that stop my kids from trick or treating!? Almost... but no. Although I did hear Marae ask to go home after about an hour of trick or treating. That's how you know it must have been cold bc nothing will get that girl to stop collecting candy,
This year Boone wanted to be a zombie which is interesting bc he's always been so afraid of them. He was a non-bloody zombie at school and then we added the blood after school. Marae was a darling cheetah and so was Adelyn. Wyatt was Curious George and I was the Man with the Yellow Hat and Mason was a banana when we met up with him at Bridgerland for trick or treating. My mom was in town so it was such a fun day with her being there to share in all the fun. She was a witch.
Thankfully there was someone in the ward who had a portable scooter that she could borrow to go trick or treating with us on. I wish she could spend every Halloween with us. My favorite memory of her that night was her riding the scooter dressed as a witch and cackling in this high pitched cackle as she drove by the kids.
