Christmas Eve Pajamas

This has become one of my favorite traditions.  I love dressing all my babies up the same in their snuggly Christmas pajamas.  And then... Santa came!

Christmas Eve

I love our traditions on Christmas Eve.  We started the day with caroling at the old folks home followed by bowling with friends, Chuck a Rama, and then sledding.  It's such a perfect day.

Lefler Christmas Nativity

Wyatt debuted as Jesus this year at the Lefler family nativity.  As always... we keep things very reverent during this activity.  😏

Santa

Santa was a bit of a let down this year.  We went to Bridgerland where he was visiting.  It was too busy and loud and rushed.  The kids didn't mind though.  Wyatt wasn't afraid of him at all.  Adelyn was pretty nervous though.

2018 Christmas Cards

I had these planned out exactly how I wanted them to look for months.  We created this scene in the kitchen and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.  My babies.

I wanted one with them laughing so Mason told the perfect joke.  Back story - Mason had come home from a conference and said, "I heard the best joke!  The kids will love it!"  I told him to NOT tell the kids and save it for the perfect occasion when we would need smiles.  And THIS WAS IT!!  

So here's the joke:  Why was the duck wearing diapers?  To cover his butt quack.

And that's how we got the picture of them all laughing.  There you have it.  😳  And we've been hearing the joke ever since - like I knew we would.

Gingerbread

We held our annual gingerbread party with our friends.  It was a great night followed by houses with the kids the next morning.  We had the Welker's, Maughan's, Merrill's (how lost and Trevor got to serenade us), the Burtenshaw's and us.

Wyatt 10 Months Old
