Adelyn's 9th Birthday

The Addie bug is 9!!!  Being Adelyn's birthday falls so close to Thanksgiving she gets a nice long and drawn out birthday.  We celebrated on her birthday with crepes for breakfast, her favorite restaurant for lunch at Capriotti's, cake at Jack and Charlie's, and that night we went to Luminaria with Tom, Laura and the Udall's - her favorite cousin Claire!!

Adelyn is very into jungle theme right now and that is what she wanted for her room.  So she got a new super soft blanket, pink fuzzy rug, and leaves to decorate her room with.  She now likes to sleep on the floor under her jungle vines.

Then a couple weeks later she got to have a friend party. The girls decorated cookies, played some games and watched a movie.

Allegro Dance Winter Pictures

 My girls looked so beautiful in the pictures this semester.  I cannot get over how old and mature Marae is looking.  I love my little dancers.  This year at the recital they showed so much improvement in their dancing.  I'm so proud of them and love watching them dance on stage.  This year they had three classes at the studio.  They did ballet, irish, and lyrical.  Their favorite is lyrical.

Halloween 2023

 

This year the kids wanted to do a family theme of pirates.  Wyatt was the captain with his adorable pirate costume, Marae a pirate, Boone was a drunken sailor, and Adelyn was the parrot.

Halloween Activities

 The kids had a great haul with all the candy.  Mason and I were actually the ones encouraging them to stay out later - they were ready to go home!!  They live in an area where they get tons of candy - especially when they started at Carma's house with her LOADS AND LOADS of candy.

I volunteered in Wyatt and Marae's class dressed as a pirate.  The kids all liked the parrot on my shoulder.

I went to a Barbie dance party dressed as 60's Barbie.
