Oh my goodness... I had the opportunity to do another show. It was amazing. I was so fun. I did it with one of my best friends Suzi Barrett (who ended up moving right after the show) ðŸ˜. My other friend Lindsey Kelstrom was the director. It was a blast. My favorite thing about doing shows is just dancing my heart out. I love the singing, I love the dancing, I love the costumes and makeup. So fun. So stinking fun to do something out of the norm. A lot of my friends from when I did The Little Mermaid were in it too making it even more fun to reconnect with them.
I was a dancer in about 6-7 numbers. I was also Donna (the leads) double in a memory when she was singing to her daughter right before she gets married. I would cry every time I heard the song bc it made me think of Marae growing up. The song was called "Slipping through my fingers".
One of the guys in the cast looks identical to the actor that plays Kilo Ren. Boone is convinced that he IS Kilo Ren and was very star struck when he got to meet him after the play. Kilo Ren played the part very well including giving Boone a special coin. Boonie loved the show and asked to come as many times as possible!
My mom and dad were both able to come up for the show. It was fun having them be there for the performances. It was also fun having a lot of the girls from Hollow Road come and support us too.
When the 3 dads come out dressed in shiny disco Mason said, "Man I wish I were wearing that - 6 inch platform heels and all". He would have fit right in!!!!
