Boone's science project

For Christmas my parents gave Boone a rock tumbler that polishes rocks.  He used it for his science project at school.  He had a great time comparing after weeks of tumbling and then presenting his project at the fair.

Snow Pics

Cute babies in the snow.  When I took these pictures I felt like it was the first time looked like 'one of the gang'.  That's what Laura said when she saw them.  He's always been the baby... but not anymore.

Wyatt 11 Months

I remember this special day with Wyatt in the mother's room at church.  These are some thoughts I wrote when I shared one of these pictures to Facebook:

Everything is so sacred and special with him - my last baby. This picture was taken in the mother’s room at church. I was hanging out in there nursing Wyatt - my 10 month old wiggly baby. I had this moment of silence where time froze for a bit (do you ever have those moments of being totally present in a moment just watching it unfold and finding the beauty of it?). Anyway... this last baby of mine is quickly slipping away. My oldest baby, who is 8, just wrote a letter to our elf. It had a pile of money in it and said, “Please take this money and buy some food, clothes, and a happy life for the poor. That’s my present for me instead of a toy.” Talk about an unexpected cry fest tonight. Boone (my oldest) has gotten so big. He’s grown so much and I feel like this was just him. I remember being in the mother’s room with him - that special little secret place. I’m going to miss it. I love my haven where I get to go snuggle my baby. Wyatt will turn 1 in February. I’ve got one and a half more months of having a baby and then - never again. All of these lasts (last first Christmas, etc) are really piling up and my mama heart is about ready to burst. ðŸ˜¢ It’s bitter sweet friends. Just some late night ramblings.
