Our Garden Friends...

These are the neighbors that live in our backyard...

Meet Nutmeg and his two little goat friends...

These little guys sound so cute whenever we come out to water our garden...

Our garden is doing so well!  I love coming out everyday to see how they have grown.

Corn...
Beans and peas...
Romaine lettuce...
Potatoes...
Strawberries...
And lastly... our tomatoes...  We are thinking about moving.  Hopefully we will get to see the fruits of our harvest.

Happy Anniversary

Two years ago today I married my best friend.  I love this man so much.  I am so lucky to be with him.  We have been through so much together.  Our relationship has been a roller coaster ride from the beginning but we have grown together so strong.  He is an example to me in so many ways.  I can't imagine my life without him.

I love looking at the pictures from our wedding.  It seems like so long ago, but then it seems like we just got married.  The pictures bring me back to the day and I fall in love all over again.  He is such a beautiful person inside and out.

I look at these pictures and I feel like we are so young.  I am always telling Mason, "Look at how young you were"... which is silly I know, (only two years right?!) but I feel like we were such babies - two babies starting out on their own journey of life.  Look how far we've come hun.

I love you.
Happy Anniversary.

LSAT

Monday is a very long anticipated day.  Mason is going to take the LSAT which is the preparatory test before law school.  I'm so proud of him.  He had been preparing for a very long time.  I know that he will do great.  Good luck hun!!

After this hopefully there won't be so many moments like this... actually there will probably be twice as many once he's actually in Law School and studying there... but that's okay.  I will just continue to take pictures of him without him knowing.

Nature Girls

Klara and I drove up to Silver Lake up American Fork canyon to celebrate our first week of summer.  It was beautiful up there!  There was hardly anyone up there.
We also saw a cute little snake but I couldn't get my camera out fast enough...

We saw this little waterfall on the way back down...

It was so much fun.  You need a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get up there... and that's exactly what Klara has!  We have had many adventures in that truck!  I LOVE THIS TRUCK!
We drove up to the abandoned mine.  We hiked around a little bit, ate subway sandwiches, and played a game or two.
If you know me I love to take pictures... especially random or goofy ones.  This picture is one that I took with my camera timer.  We were both trying to jump in the air.  This was the closest one we got to being off the ground.
These next ones I had set the camera to take 5 pictures in a row.  I set the camera across the river and then I had to run across the bridge to make it in time.  I did not... but I made it about the 3rd one.  I love these pictures!

Wild woman in the bushes...

Sliding in!

Made it!

We had a wonderful time.  I love being out in nature!

A Lefler Tale...

I just uploaded a bunch of pictures off of my mother-in-law's computer that I have been meaning to get for a while.  So I will give a bunch of little quips for these new pictures...
I have two of the cutest nieces in the world.  They always ask me to read them stories...

Me cutting cheese at Grandma Lefler's...

I love this picture.  My nieces and nephews did a puppet show for us.  Then after they were done the brothers got up and did one.  It was hilarious!

My sleepy grumpy bug...

This was us on Easter...
I married into the greatest family...  They do the funnest things!

Schools out for summer!

It's always a bitter sweet day... I am excitedly awaiting the break, but then I always get emotional while saying goodbye because I know I'll never have these kids again.  It's amazing how fast a year goes by.  I really do have the best job in the world.

This cute little girl wrote a poem about the year and framed it for me.

The hardest part for me is saying goodbye to the little ones that I just want to take home with me because I know that their home life is so hard and who knows how they are going to end up.  There was one little girl like that today... and even though she has driven me crazy all year I was sad to see her go because I am afraid of what life is going to bring for her.

But until next year...
Schools out for summer!
