Halloween 2016

I just love fall and Halloween.  There are so many fun traditions.  Here we are carving pumpkins.

This year we had a witch, a cat, and a Jedi.

We went to a city party.  I mostly wanted another excuse for them to wear their cute costumes.

I got to be a part of the American Festival Chorus's Halloween Spooktacular show.  The choreographer from The Little Mermaid asked it I would be a dancer in this show she was working with.  I got to dance in some numbers including "Thriller".  I made an amazing zombie costume.  My children must wonder about their mother at times....

It just so happened that right before the show Logan city had a zombie crawl.  People dressed up as zombies and walked down the street to a local pizza place and got free pizza.  People must have thought I was a die hard pizza fan being so decked out - and I didn't even go get any pizza!!  Mason brought the kids over to watch the zombies go by.

This picture below was taken by the Logan city photographer for the event.

Boone's school party:

The morning of Halloween I took the girls to go trick or treating downtown.  A piece of me felt guilty not bringing Boonie being he was in school... oh that mom guilt.  Granted he did get to go 2 other years...  I just missed having all my little babies with me.  Just part of growing up.  Then we went to IHOP to get a monster faced pancake.

Adelyn insisted that every piece of candy she was given had to be eaten immediately.  I knew it was going to be a long, sugar crazed day.... so I didn't even try to fight it.

First we went to our ward trunk or treat and then we went trick or treating.  These kids got SO MUCH CANDY!!!  We donated almost all of it to a local dentist who sends it over seas the next day.
