This year for the Lefler vacation we went up to McCall Idaho. It was beautiful and fun. The drive was a little rough - 7 hours (if you did it nonstop - so much longer for us). Thankfully we have the DVD player. We had to do a makeshift fix for Boone's headphones being they got broken last year.
About halfway in Boise, ID we stopped at my high school friend Lindsey Sasser's house. They were right off the freeway and had a great backyard for the kids to play in. It was a perfect stop.
We had been in McCall once before when we went white water rafting the year after we got married. We loved it then. It has a gorgeous lake with nice sandy beaches for the kids to play on.
One morning I took the kids to a fish hatchery. It was neat to see the different stages of the Salmon. Boone was a little nervous though.
I love my water babies.
For some reason we didn't get many pictures with the cousins or anyone. I guess I was too busy chasing babies around.
On the way home we stopped at Miracle Hot Springs. It was so refreshing and a good pit stop for fussy babies. We basically had the pool to ourselves because it was overcast threatening rain. It was great!
This was the last 20 minutes of the road... not sure why I took it other than she looks pretty blown out. Vacations are always exhausting but fun.
