July Randoms

I love summer.  I actually love pretty much every summer but there is something so magical about the long days and warm nights.  We had a great summer and month of July.  We are always up to something or another!

The babies rushed their daddy when he got home:

Every morning when Mason leaves Boone likes to race him around the corner.  Boone thinks he's as fast as a cheetah.  He says he was born where the cheetas live.  Occasionally Marae will tag along.  It's pretty dang cute.

Chik Fil La had their dress like a cow and get a free meal day.  So we did.

Whoa Rae...

This guy took it too far...

I love this picture below because of Adelyn's face.  My family is always texting each other and this particular moment they said to send a picture of what you were eating.  Adelyn photo bombed the camera.

Marae accidently cut off two curls trying to open an Otter Pop.  Thankfully this is all the damage that was done.

Boone has made a new friend who lives next door.  Emmanuel Romero.  They like to play ninjas and other little boy things.  He just turned 8 so he's a bit older but they get along well.  This particular day Mason was helping them learn balancing tricks.

I love this picture below so much.  I was making dinner and told Marae not to take any cheese.  I turned around and saw this.  Her guilty face explains it all.

Marae and her little friend Norah Tolsen.

These next two pictures happened all within 10 minutes of each other.  Just a day of motherhood.  Marae stealing sprinkles and eating them in Boonie's bed and Adelyn throwing a jar of baby food across the floor.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit!

Bear Lake

My parents came up to visit in July.  It always feels like a vacation when they come to visit.  We go out to eat a lot and get spoiled plenty by them.  This time they even left us with a TRAMPOLINE - which I love just as much as the kids.  I'm so glad I get to see them although it's not nearly enough.

So my dad gave the kids the trampoline for Capitalism Christmas.  He gave me a Sig Saur p238 with a lazer and I love it.

We also drove out to Bear Lake.  We visited Minnetonka Cave and then played on the beach.  It was a little chilly as a storm blew in right as we were leaving but it was still a great day.

Naughty baby.

Mason was only able to come during the cave visit then he had to go back to school.  We live in such a beautiful place.
