I just entered the 3rd trimester this week!! Being I only have one other photo of me being pregnant this time around I told Mason that I had to at least document this day.
28 week stats:
Total weight gained: 22 lbs.
Baby Update: Babycenter says she's 2 1/4 pounds and about the size of an eggplant. She's an active little one and I feel her moving all the time. Boonie has felt her move and occasionally he'll ask if the baby is awake so he can feel her. Usually I don't mind but he asked me at church the other day and kept trying to lift my shirt up in the middle of the hallway. I first felt her move on May 18th at 10:31 pm. I wrote a note to myself because I wanted to remember.
Cravings: Anything I don't have to make. If we weren't so broke I'd spend all our money on going out to eat. So I guess it's a good thing there is no money to spend!! Poor college students. The other day I craved blueberry muffins and Boonie wanted to help me make them. We made them right before his nap time. At the beginning of naptime there were 12 in total. He ate one, I ate one and at the end of the 1.5 hour nap there were only 3 left. Yuuuummmm...
Weird Pregnancy Symptoms: My left hip KILLS. It must be how this little lady is sitting but it aches all the time and hurts at the end of the day. Oh well. With the other two I had a terrible pain in my back but not with this one.
Crazy Pregnant Lady: Yup that's me. For the last two weeks we were toying with the idea of moving into Mason's cousins house. It would have been nice because it was a lot bigger but it was pretty gross and built in the 60's with NOTHING having been remodeled since. We had decided to move in but then I thought to get it tested for mold and the test came back positive - so it was a no go. Anyway... before the test came back we were in constant limbo as to whether we were moving or not. I was a crazy pregnant lady then. All you had to do was look at me cross-eyed and I'd start bawling. Luckily that has settled down and now I only burst into tears when the vacuum at the gas station doesn't stay on for longer than 15 seconds and the worker doesn't do anything about it. So yeah... I'm not feeling like mother of the year over here... But I've been trying to get in some good quality time with my kiddos before I completely get consumed with a new bundle. Plus I'm trying to keep up on blogging... if I get behind I'll never come back alive.
Baby Prep: I'm getting so excited to have a newborn to snuggle again. My other two babies have gotten too big. I'm going to be a little more relaxed with this one. They just grow up too fast. We moved Marae's bed into Boonie's room (although she hasn't slept in it yet). We also cleaned out the garage and got all the babies clothes and things out so that I can start to go through things. The nesting bug has officially hit. My favorite name right now is Sadie. We'll see what we land on. I am so excited to have my love grow and see that new little face.
This is the only other picture taken of me. Here I was at 20 weeks. I've really popped over the past 8 weeks. Mason declares that his tugboat has officially arrived. Such a sweet petname. I personally think I resemble more of a duck. I do love that picture above though... It really states that I am a mommy.
